The Great Unseen.

One can only marvel at the ingenuity that surrounds the James Webb telescope that is about to unfold itself nearly a million miles away in outer space. The blogger is unable to fathom the achievement of all those involved, those that casually speak of the literally hundreds of parts that must work perfectly in this oriel orchestrated occurrence.

The heir to Hubble, JW is a hundred times more powerful and will look to see the origins of the Universe and its first galaxy. As we enter the man made year 2022 many are planning for the year ahead wondering that which lays before them. Pundits make fiscal forecasts of exchange rates and currency predictions in the hope that someone might follow them. The crystal balls are out and Political forecasters are rampant yet these are all best guesstimating.

The reality is that no one other than the Creator knows the future and therefore we are required to believe in the plans that He has for us and what part we are to play as our life unfolds. We do not need predictions nor forecasts but that which we require this New Years Eve is Faith.

In the 11th Chapter of Hebrews verse 1 we read about faith. ‘ Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. ‘ . That’s right faith in action is having the confidence in all that we hope for and the assurance about the great unseen. That Faith is in our Creator , the very one that made you and me , the universe and all those people with the wherewithal to send James Webb out there.

As you go into 2022 give a little time to ponder and ask the Creator to instil in you the faith that I speak of. We can call forth what we hope for now and see it established before our very eyes. We can look forward with confident assurance in this and put our faith into action. For those who don’t have that faith or have never experienced anything like that all you have to do is ask your Creator for a measure this New Year’s Eve for each one of us will be given a measure and in scripture we are told that we only need the measure of a mustard seed. Try it.
