Quasimodo was a bell ringer in the fiction of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I hope that Kwasi modo Kwarteng’s name rings a bell with you. Yes he’s the Chancellor of the UK Exchequer.
Today 14th October could be an interesting day as he returns from Washington and may find himself out of a job before his first pay packet. Many are pulling the ropes and I can hear the cries. If Kwasi does any more U turns the sat nav of the British Economy will break under the pressure.
Today will be an historic day but one way or another the bells are ringing. The Lunchpacks which parents can’t afford for their children will ring in change today. The Gilts and those running them are Guilty whilst Governor Bailey may well be joining the P45 queue soon. The Bailey gates are shutting.
As for Liz , truss me she hasn’t got long for no matter what you think, she hasn’t had a chance. Her days are numbered and if the lawyer Starmer gets instructed there will be a General Election. So look out for U turns today and Eco protestors stuck to the road or rails whilst the trains are not running.
It’s just a hunch but that’s my early morning reckoning , an historic day before the Cathedral burns down. Our Lady Thatcher will be seething as she wasn’t for turning either but was eventually pushed. Watch this space.
