Some thoughts to end the week. Rishi is an anagram for Irish which makes sense when they too have had an Indian, Leo Vradkar as their Prime Minister. My only conundrum is that Sunak doesn’t work as an anagram. Any thoughts ?
Completely bemused how one TV presenter , Schofield , can literally dominate the UK news for nearly 10 days when so much else is happening around us. Ok he jumped the queue to see the Queen in state and made by his own admission some bad choices. Time to move on and surely this can’t be a topic for the House of Commons to spend time on next week ?
The Epsom Derby is run today but people can’t get there easily because of the train strike. The horses hopefully will. There’s merit in place betting outsiders on a never know basis. To enter the race the horse must be good. I’m going for 2 Artistic Star and Waipiro whose place odds will be more than any favourite. Meantime bet on Manchester to win the FA Cup. You can’t lose.
Boris Johnson has moved in locally and looks ridiculous in his so called running gear. Plimsoles , suit socks , rotten shorts from the dirty washing and a tracksuit top from 1960. Running with a small dog on a lead at one mile per hour shooing away a lone paparazzi he looks like an Eton mess.
China sent three men into Space this week for 20 weeks aboard Tiangong Space Station. They will not be stopping off at Taiwan this time and will be making their way to the Moon Soon. ( no not the name of one of the three astronauts )
