Yesterday I wished my Jewish friends ‘ Shana Tova ‘ the traditional New Year Greeting at the Feast of Trumpets when the shofar is blown 100 times. Shofar so good right ?
Anyway the Jewish people have a great sense of humour and one friend sent me the above photo. I responded that it was that Apple in the garden 5784 years ago on the tree that was the root cause of all our problem. It was man Adam led by woman Eve that was cause to eat that forbidden fruit falling into sin against God’s instructions not to eat the fruit from that tree. Yesterday 5784 years on it was Adam’s birthday and from dust he came and dust he would return. The woman was created from his rib , no connection to spare rib.
According to the Bible a day is like a thousand years and as God created the world in 6 days it’s life expectancy is 6000 years when Messiah comes. Ok do the maths 6000 less 5784 and that’s in 216 years time 2240. I won’t be around nor will you but I’m sticking to believe that Messiah Jesus that Jewish Rabbi came earlier that week.
Seeing the photo made me think that the Apple phone whilst being a phenomenal invention, the mobile alexander bell it doubles up with so many functions from computer , tv, camera , archive , clock , calculator, communication, internet it’s almost every human function. In fact this Apple though a cause for good can be the cause of bad .
In effect the Apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree since Eden and is still racking up so many issues. Those still working off the Gregorian Calendar believe it’s 2023 years since the birth of Messiah Jesus Christ and if a day is as a thousand years it’s Tuesday. Without blowing my own trumpet this morning I hope you enjoy this witty blog which in these most difficult times it’s worth remembering that a sense of human humour is God’s gift to us all.
David Attenborough and other scientists all believe of course that the earth is billions of years old and that guy Darwin claims we ascended from Apes.
