There’s a wonderful cafe / restaurant near me that is excellent with one exception. It’s just too small. You can book or takeaway at the window. To help the Management consideration by most is given to the need to order , eat and get out. However very few assist and invariably there are some that hang around for longer than welcome over one cup of tea. That restricts of course the thundering herd famished to go the whole hog and quickly.
It’s the time of year where there is no room at the inn and at this cafe / restaurant it’s always that time of the year. In life we often need to move on end dead relationships, cul de sac cultures, bad habits . We must remain in constant review and appraisal. If we don’t move on we stay stuck , anchored to angst and mired in misery.
Are you in that situation in your life ? Christmas is for many a time of obligation, a time that you are required to spend in servitude to face and family correct. Life is one way and perhaps it’s time to give your seat up in the cafe / restaurant, wipe your mouth and move on.
The Management are ever gracious and you can stay as long as you wish. That’s grace but some just don’t have it.
