Life’s jigsaw.

Remember going to see a relative or friend and seeing a jigsaw laid out on their table usually unfinished. John Spilsbury in 1760 is credited for creating the first one. A puzzle rather like a crossword it entails fitting the individual shapes and sizes together to form the bigger picture.

Our lives are the aggregate of different pieces that when all assembled create the bigger and fully complete picture. At birth we are handed the box and over the years put it all together. Some jigsaws never get completed of course and are interrupted leaving the picture incomplete for others to speculate on what it would look like.

All the pieces are in the box but poor decisions or lack of focus can create the undone. The more we create the fewer pieces remain and in theory completion gets easier. However some of us just and still don’t get it as we fumble and stumble towards the finishing line. The pieces all fit and there in satisfaction in achieving this. The jigsaw lays out on the table for we can boast a well led completed life

How far into your life jigsaw are you today ? Are you intent on finishing and enjoying the moment or do you wish you’d have been given a different box at birth. The Bible in Psalm 139 says we are uniquely and wonderfully made which means our box is our box and there was never intended another one for you . The blogger still has a few pieces to fit and at times it’s difficult to see what goes where but I’m still at the table determined to finish and finish it well.
