Humanity greets success and popularity, everyone’s friend then there is often triumphant turn. Like a Corporate successful leader begins to fail, a golden athlete that slows, a Churchill that delivers only to be sent away. Humanity in its often ugly, cancels , that culture that creeps in like slow poisoning heart.
As we enter Holy Week , Sunday success enters with great expectation that they might overthrow , rid them of all problems and bring change. Alas within days the triumphant turns , the critics rise and the end is cried for. What was started is called to finish and eradicate all that was achieved. Your time is up, now added pain and misery , torture and tumult by Friday it ends.
Many of us will recognise that turn in our own lives , loved then lost, praised then pulped. Those that see never see the whole picture of course , the nuance the plan or what is really happening, for how can they for they are human. What appears to be the end is just the beginning yet we cancel in condemnation.
I am minded of the Princess of Wales, a hero or is it heroine for so long praised then without cause condemned in her silence in her absence from public stage. So many speculating such sour scenarios as humanity rears its ugly utterances. Now we know why but yet we are to see outcome and as the speculators scurry again we need stop , let her rest and recover. Will we do that ? Or are we human after all ?
What we see is not what’s really going on what we judge is so often wrong , our conclusions mere delusions. Whatever has entered your life that you face remember triumphant turn and not to cancel those around you so quickly for you know not what you do.
