The continuing cross bombardment between in the Middle East and todays launch of missile from Yemen with more attacks in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley begs the question. Is this the beginning of the last days ? as spoken of in the Book of Revelation, Ezekiel and Gospel of Matthew in the Bible.
The final battle takes place in the Jezreel Valley in Armageddon where I have seen the vast plain as the global armies attack Jerusalem. Bekaa means ‘ Weeping ‘ and the people are as war renders needless loss of lives.
How can we teach the children peace when their parents are murdered. How can we teach the parents when their children are killed. The valley is bordered by Mounts Lebanon and Hermon. The latter is the mountain that saw the transfiguration of Jesus when before a few of his chosen Apostles He met Elijah and Moses for a conflab. What did they discuss ? No one knows but 2000 years on there is trouble in these hills.
The Bekaa Valley is the route to Damascus the road where Saul of Tarsus had a miraculous meeting with Jesus and the post conversion to Paul the Apostle teacher and author in large of the New Testament.
The last days are to be seen when there are wars , rumours of wars, famine , floods , chaos which hallmarks today in this uncertain world.
In Matthew 24 it says that no one will know the time of the end but we seem to be in a season a time where what happens next could be exactly this. I don’t believe however that we are in these times for matters in my reckoning are to get worse though we have crossed the rubicon. Meanwhile we seek as man to explore outer space and place the trackers and means to be parked out there ready to use. Our actions seem to point that we wish to self destruct and give mankind a second chance elsewhere.
Has life just been an exercise to sort the wheat from the chaff , some go up some go down or were be appointed stewards of earth and to concentrate on that not wander off into the elsewhere. War was never intended as that Devil got in and evil visited . The original earth blueprint got painted black with man’s selfish greedy paint brush. The leaders meanwhile seek for peace and there are good people out there trying to do so. There are those who want the status quo to stay as they are. But change will come and change is here. We need find solutions and we need to do so quickly before we enter the Jezreel Valley.
The Prince of Peace will return of course but not yet.
