• The NHS is an absolutely fantastic service with an incredible hard working employee workforce . It is our biggest employer and its budget is £189 billion per annum. It’s free to use for everyone. It maintains , repairs us all but does not make any profit. Unsustainable comes to mind
• Drivers are wanted off the road by narrowing roads, impossible 20mph speed restrictions, fines for literally everything. Yet the uk revenue from driving is £43 billion per annum. From cyclists £5 billion.
• The Prime Minister is a lawyer ( lawyers take instructions), the Chancellor has no financial qualifications, the Cabinet have little real experience in the fields that matter and they govern. The Secretary for Trade and Business never qualified.
• The Welfare Budget is over £300 billion or 23% of total Government revenue. It’s an unsustainable oxygen support system. The oxygen is running out.
• To get anything done from building houses , judicial, meaningful takes too long to achieve. The Planning system is broken.
• Entrepreneurs and seed capital to support them is scattered. The Employers are taxed not to employ. The Banks are closing, online is here but the decision makers are offline.
• The tax system penalises people and doesn’t promote people. There is little incentive for the unemployed on benefits to get out of bed. Entitlement reigns.
• Only in Scotland is University education free. The rest of Britain it is simply another business producing very often worthless degrees. Corporate apprenticeships and Blue Collar training is absent. Plumbers are scarce , lawyers abound, bricklayers with even fewer bricks , accountants with too many complexities.
• Crime pays, £219 billion is lost through this annually. Unsustainable comes to mind. Pay those that commit these crimes to join to fight it. Catch them if you can.
• Family breakdown is too high. It costs the British economy £51billion per annum. Promote families to stay together, build community, build Britain. Family is the foundation of any Society , when the family breaks everything disintegrates.
