You’ll never see it.

The Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol was designed in the 1830’s by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and finally built late 1860’s. Brunel died before it was built and he never saw it in situ. Likewise Moses who for 40 years journeyed to the Promised Land leading the masses never saw the fruits of his work. Moses saw the land from Mount Horeb but he never got to enter.

You are working on things today that you’ll never see but you are the essential piece that moving part of what it is. Being part of the bigger plan is encouraging and recognising the ripple effects of our lives important in realising we only see part of the picture and that the frame of our lives holds bigger canvass than even we can imagine.

Whatever you are working on pause a moment think of Isambard and Moses. Some of their exploits they did of course see the results but undoubtedly what they didn’t see was the forever impact. You may never see it but it’s still there and when it appears it will be perfect timing. Your children will achieve what you’ll never see as will their children, that project you are working on you’ll never see but it’s there and is there to come. Don’t despair but delight that it’s because of you. Get the picture, the bigger picture.
