For the dyslexic there is confusion in letter order. For the mainstream there remains confusion as to whether Kyiv and Kiev are one and the same. Indeed they are the same City , named by the Ukrainians as Kyiv and the Russians Kiev.

There is no dish after all as Chicken Kyiv only Chicken Kiev that surprise splattering of butter as the knife hits the Chicken breast. The above hashtag site is a genuine campaign to claim the name.

London is of course known as Londongrad these days not due to anything other than the presence of Russians in every street in Central London or for the ownership of the World Club Soccer Champions Chelsea. London was of course Londinium under the Romans now we just have Roman the Club’s owner in town though an abundance of Italian restaurants.

Many cities have of course changed there names take Stalingrad , Leningrad and St Petersburg soon to be named Putingrad. One City lots of names. Don’t forget New Amsterdam now New York , it’s the done thing change the name logo and brand.

Meantime if Putin is going to survive this he will need to change his name and make off to South America soon. His disappearance needs to be SWIFT for like those Dictators before him he could end up in a bunker , a sewer or on Elba , elbowed out by one of his own.
