Mania in Manhattan gets played out next Tuesday following the indictment of President Donald Trump on criminal charges involving an Adult film star. Essentially Ms Stormy Daniels requested monies as the Don ran for the White House otherwise she would reveal all. Yes take all of her clothes off ( again ) and tell all about the sex she and the Don had. Some might call that blackmail in the White House but the Don wanted hush and paid her $130,000 to shut the prospect down. Allegedly these funds came from Campaign Funds which is apparently the illegal bit. Don’s lawyer took the initial wrap and his Principal threw him under the bus as Mr Cohen went to prison.
To ask someone for money to have sex is not illegal but to pay someone to not reveal that we had sex is. Stormy says she had sex and then got paid to deny she had it. That’s prostitution in reverse and I don’t believe that’s a crime. To use campaign money to remove that which may affect the campaign is a form of payment from the marketing budget and again surely not a crime.
Therefore the allegation and arrest is purely Politically motivated and we all can see that. Is Trump going to Prison ? definitely not. The appearance of the Don may in fact boost his prospect of a second term at the White House. Some might think this is all a storm in a teacup and to put the kettle on at this time a very British solution Anyway we have had scandal in Britain with ladies and politicians from Gladstone to Profumo and from Lloyd George to Harry Wilson women have abounded. The point is we have heard it all before and the sensation is that this is the first time a retired President is being criminally charged post presidential office. Nixon was charged whilst in office which was bad at the time but this is apparently worse. Indeed worse for America as it demeans itself and causes unnecessarily a divide. All of this , if true could have been avoided and only in America do we have a washing of all our dirty linen in public. That’s the crime as it’s simply bad experience to see all this unfold. The Don enters Daniel’s lions den next Tuesday but the lions won’t bite him and out of it he will again come out. If the sex did occur and it was consensual then no crime had occurred and if money has been paid to silence the Lion then again that’s no crime. The Democrats want Trump not to run and the charges are most certainly trumped up. It might actually help Don with his re erection sorry re election chances and be staged to get him back in the White House for the other hot Republican candidate is no Saint sorry Santis himself. As for Stormy she’s an actress don’t forget and bares all on every occasion. She had to do it , it’s her job. It’s all a farce and only in America.

I strongly disagree with your view that “the allegation and arrest is purely political and we can all see that.” There are many people, including myself, that believe he may have broken the law in some respect by falsifying the declaration of this payment and therefore should face the law as anyone else would under such circumstances.
Moreover, this is the first and probably most trivial of several criminal acts he is alleged to have committed. He is being investigated for inciting the January 6th insurrection and attempting to overturn the election result in Georgia. Both of these much more grievous acts have very powerful evidence in the public domaine that demonstrates their criminal intent in the form of his televised speeches on Jan 6th and recorded phone calls asking an election official to ‘find’ more votes. My hope is that for the sake of American democracy and the world as a whole, justice will finally be done as it is my view that he is clearly unfit to be the leader any country.
